ONE Championship: Adrian Lee on stunning ONE 172 win – I want to be ‘greatest ever’
Lee extended his unbeaten streak with a submission win over Takeharu Ogawa at ONE 172

Adrian Lee said he was determined to make a name for himself in mixed martial arts after another dominant display at ONE 172 on Sunday.
Lee extended his unbeaten streak with a stunning submission win over Takeharu Ogawa in Japan’s Saitama Super Arena.
“My goal in this sport is to be the greatest ever,” he told the Post. “I’ve got really high aspirations. I plan on taking multiple belts and seeing where that takes me.”
Lee forced the tap out via an anaconda choke early in the first round and picked up a US$50,000 bonus.
“Even right now, it’s still so surreal,” he said. “I came in there prepared for a war and was ready to go all three rounds if I had to. But I’m glad I finished as fast as I did.”
With another finish on his record, Lee’s stock continues to rise, but he credits his rapid development to training alongside his brother, Christian, the ONE lightweight and welterweight champion.
