New York Liberty point guard runs through some drills with Heep Yunn School pupils, then watches them win inter-school championship

Basketball star Sabrina Ionescu told Hong Kong pupils on Sunday “anything is possible” and they should “dream big”, after arriving in the city for the third and final stop of her Nike Asia Tour.
The three-time WNBA All-Star visited Hong Kong’s Ju Ching Chu Secondary School in Kwai Chung and Heep Yunn School in Ma Tau Wai, where she took part in drills with members of the schools’ basketball teams and presented pupils with signed shoes and notebooks.
Ionescu, a point guard with the WNBA champions New York Liberty, then headed to Kai Tak Sports Park, where both schools were competing in the girls’ final of the Nike All Hong Kong Schools Jing Ying Basketball Tournament.
New York Liberty are owned by Joe Tsai and his wife Clara Wu Tsai. Joe Tsai is co-founder and chairman of Alibaba Group, which owns the South China Morning Post.

“You guys continue to dream big and have the confidence in yourself to know that you guys can accomplish anything,” Ionescu told a hall of screaming fans at Heep Yunn.
