The Hongkonger shot a four-under-par 67 to make it to the final 36-hole shoot-out on Saturday. With scores resetting after each round, the 63 carded by Scott Vincent will not give the Zimbabwean any advantage as the 20 players all chase one place with LIV in 2025.

Others who made the cut include Hong Kong Open winner Ben Campbell, and International Series trio Gunn Charoenkul, Richard T Lee and Lee Chieh-po.
