The mixed team will face Argentina in the quarter-finals, while the mixed pairs face a crucial group stage meeting with Great Britain
Hong Kong boosted their hopes of further medals at the Paralympic Games after registering mixed results in boccia in Rio de Janeiro.
The mixed team of Kwok Hoi-ying, Leung Mei-yee, John Loung and Yeung Hiu-lam will face Argentina in the quarter-finals after registering one win and a defeat in the group stage.
Hong Kong suffered a narrow 5-4 defeat by hosts Brazil at the start of their boccia (BC1) campaign, but bounced back to cruise to a comfortable 6-3 win over Spain at Carioca Arena 2.
Argentina, though, will pose a much greater threat in the last eight tie having topped their group with a 100% record after beating Slovakia 5-4 and Portugal 7-1.
