Ortiz outduels Reed to claim Macau title, as LIV Golf trio win all Open Championship spots
Mexican finishes three shots clear of the American in Macau to claim second International Series title, with Jason Kokrak third

Carlos Ortiz outduelled Patrick Reed to win the International Series Macau and LIV golfers claimed all three Open Championship spots up for grabs at the Asian Tour event on Sunday.
The Mexican shot a final round six-under-par 64 to finish on 22 under, three ahead of Reed, who came home with a 67.
Jason Kokrak grabbed the final place at Royal Porthcawl, ending the week alone in third on 16 under. Sergio Garcia, meanwhile, fell agonisingly short after missing a three-footer for birdie at the last, with his bogey-free 65 leaving him a stroke back in fourth.
The Spaniard would have taken the place ahead of Kokrak through countback based on his higher world ranking.
After starting the day tied with Reed at 16 under, Ortiz got his nose in front from the off, birdieing two of the first three holes, and was two up at the turn. But it was an eagle at the par-5 12th, where he hit his approach to five feet, that proved pivotal.

“Most of the trouble is from the tee, so once you put the driver in play, it opens up from there,” said Ortiz, who also won International Series Oman last year.
