LIV Golf Hong Kong: DJs, top chefs, partying and world-class players – 5 things to know
Driving and putting will not be the only things on offer this week as the LIV tour makes its third stop at the Fanling Golf Course

LIV Golf returns this week for the second year running, and there’s plenty happening on and off the course at Hong Kong Golf Club over the next few days.
From watching some of the world’s best try to conquer the composite course at Fanling, to a fan village packed with activities and the usual musical entertainment as it gets dark, it’s not just three days of driving and putting.
Here, then, are some things to know ahead of the first round on Friday.
A quick recap
Hong Kong is the third stop in the LIV Golf 2025 season, with tournaments already having taken place in Riyadh and Adelaide in February.
In a first for LIV, the season-opener at Riyadh Golf Club took place under floodlights, and there were wire-to-wire wins for Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII and Adrian Meronk.
Rahm’s team finished at 50-under-par, 11 shots ahead of Ripper GC and RangeGoats GC in the first event played under the new format, with all four players’ scores counting in every round.
Meronk, meanwhile, carded rounds of 62, 66 and 71 to outlast Rahm and Torque GC’s Sebastian Munoz.
A week later in Adelaide, Joaquin Niemann took the individual honours, firing a seven-under 65 to reel in Fireballs GC’s Abraham Ancer, who led for most the day until suffering three bogeys on his final five holes. Niemann’s 13-under total was good enough for a three-shot victory over Ancer and Torque teammate Carlos Ortiz, who both shot 71.
