Justin Rose and Lucas Bjerregaard are tied for the lead on 15 under par heading into the final day of the UBS Hong Kong Open after a sensational display of golf from both men on Saturday.
The English world No.7 and the unheralded Danish youngster were playing in the final group at Hong Kong Golf Club and put on a masterclass, shooting 64 and a joint course record 63 respectively.

In pursuit are Indian pair Anirban Lahiri, who shot 65 to lie 11 under, and Jeev Milkha Singh (65 for -10). Young English prospect Matt Fitzpatrick is also on 10 under after a 66.

Rose, with 18 wins under his belt including the 2013 US Open, was often outdone by 24-year-old Bjerregaard, playing in only his third season on tour and without a career victory. 
He started to streak ahead of Rose around the turn as he put together a run of four consecutive birdies, but the Englishman stayed in touch with a monstrous eagle putt on 13, his second eagle of the day.

Bjerregaard dropped his only shot of the day on the last, allowing Rose - who has only dropped one shot all week - to tie. 
It's set up for another cracking 18 holes from the pair, who will be playing together again on Sunday.

"Lucas played unbelievable golf today. Actually didn't know much about his game and first, he's a lovely guy and second, he can really play. But yeah, I hung with him and what impressed me today was the couple of par saves that I had to make and rolled in.
"It was just a really fun day playing with Lucas and flip-flopping birdies and eagles and really stretching away from the field. It was a lot of fun.

"There's a low score always to be had on this golf course. Someone in contention is going to have to go low [on Sunday]. Lahiri has been playing great golf, he could do it.

"All I've done all week is play my game and see my shots and focus and commit to them. So from my point of view, it's more of the same. Just come out and have a good process and execute it and hopefully the number will follow.
"The par 5 [13th] was critical. We both hit good tee shots there and to make that long eagle putt was a bonus and birdie the next, that kind of got the momentum back [with Bjerregaard threatening to stretch ahead] 
"You're seeing good shots, your own good shots and someone else's good shots. It kind of keeps you believing there's lots of birdies to be had out there ... Having played with him today, I feel like at least I've learned his game a little bit which can help tomorrow, too.
"If he comes out and plays the same way, I have to come out and play really well tomorrow. That's always the case; tournaments are never easy to win if you're leading by two, four or one behind. You've always got to come out on Sunday and play well."

Lucas Bjerregaard reaction 
"It was great," said the big Dane. "I really enjoyed it out there with Justin. He's a really good guy and we kept making birdies, especially around the turn.

"So I played some good golf today and it was nice to get off to a good start, as well, to take some of the pressure off. So I'm really looking forward to tomorrow.
I lost track of how many we were under for the day coming down the stretch here.

"I lost track of how many we were under for the day coming down the stretch here. We pretty much played against each other out there, so that was good fun and I really enjoyed it. So I'm really looking forward to tomorrow and hope it's going to be more of the same.
"Obviously it's not fun to finish off any round with a bogey and not, especially not today. I really thought I made that putt on 17. I hit a really good putt that just broke off at the end. And hit a bad tee shot on 18 there, pretty much my only bad shot of the day.

"So not the way I wanted to finish, but still, I'm very happy with the round today.
"I really have to give a lot of credit to my caddie, Todd. He's really good at keeping me grounded and lightening the mood if I get too serious or nerves start showing up, he's really good at helping me with that. So I've got to owe a lot of the credit to him."

4.55pm
Irons off the tee again for Rose and Bjerregaard. The Dane finds a bit of trouble behind a tree, while Rose also lands slightly plugged in light rough. Fine second from Bjerregaard, just through the back of the green. Rose has a better view from the left of the fairway, and lands about 40 foot out from the cup. 
Bjerregaard leaves himself a tester from the back of the green with his third shot. Rose lines up his putt for a long time, hoping to finish the day in a tie or even ahead, but it never has the legs and comes to a halt four feet short. Par putts - Bjerregaard from 10 feet ... JUST WIDE! Rose for the tie ... NO MISTAKE!
Flawless 64 from Rose, who's only had one bogey all week. Bjerregaard blots his copybook at the last but it's an excellent 63. We have a tie for the lead tomorrow, and the delicious prospect of watching these two duel together again.
Up ahead, Poulter bogies the last after going over the green with his second into an awkward lie by the greenside marquee. A 73 for a total of -4 for him, and he won't be challenging tomorrow. Partner Lu gets up and down from a bunker for a 71 and is at -6. Pars all the way for him apart from one bogey
That's the end of the day's action, and it's set up deliciously for another showdown between Bjerregaard and Rose tomorrow
 
4.35pm
Bjerregaard is hitting his irons deliciously. Another one to around 10 feet on the 17th. Rose lands wider, maybe 25 feet away, and Bjerregaard senses the chance to stretch his lead further. The Dane's attempt shaves the cup however, after Rose had holed out for par. Still one shot in it as we go down the last.
Rookie of the year contender Lahiri narrowly misses another birdie attempt on the last, but he'll sign for an impressive 65. Five birdies over the back nine for the in-form Indian, second in Macau last week. Playing partner Matt Ford birdies for a 67 and a -9 total. 
 
4.25pm
Beautiful iron from Bjerregaard on 16, taking on the bunker and landing eight feet out. Rose is 10 yards ahead on the fairway and takes what looks like a wedge straight over the bunker to even closer in. Two great birdie chances. Rose shares a joke with his caddie as they march to the green, no wonder they're happy after today's display. Bjerregaard holes out BUT OH DEARIE ME! Rose's putt shaves the edge of the hole and that's an annoying miss. 
Lahiri bags another birdie on 17 after a sensational iron shot to six feet. 
YE Yang birdies the last to finish with a 67, -9 overall. 
 
4.10pm
Rose finds a greenside bunker with his second on 15 and his flighted chip lands 15 feet short. A tester to hold par. Bjerregaard on the green in regulation, but a long way from the hole. Birdie effort is six inches short, great putt as he taps in to put the pressure on Rose. Rose gets up from his stance well before the ball drops, confident he's nailed it, and he just about does, the ball taking a look on the edge before deciding to dive in.
Meanwhile, Matt Fitzpatrick drops his first shot of the day on 18 after landing in a bunker. Might be disappointed with a 66 that threatened to be better had some more putts dropped.

3.55pm
Two cracking drives on 14 from Rose and Bjerregaard. Rose sticks his iron to six feet from around 125 yards, leaving Bjerregaard to follow him in. He lands pin-high about 15 feet out and his putt is three inches short, ending his run of four birdies. Rose makes no mistake and the pair are level again, with some daylight between them and the chasing pack.
Elsewhere, impressive back nine from Jeev Milkha Singh, who's just signed for a 65. Six birdies on the back half.
 
3.45pm
Bjerregaard is storming now. He misses a 30-foot eagle attempt on 13 by an inch, and taps in for his fourth birdie in a row. Rose nails his own monster putt for his second eagle of the day though! Sensational stuff from both

Fitzpatrick blasts a stunning iron on 16 that stops stone dead first bounce six feet from the pin, but he misses the putt badly, going five feet past. Saves par
 
3.30pm
Two solid irons off the tee at the par-3 12th from Rose and Bjerregaard, the Dane pin-high 10 feet out and Rose perhaps 20 feet below the cup. Rose's putt is never on line, and Bjerregaard has the chance to stretch his lead. NAILS IT - his third birdie in a row and the pressure's on now, Justin. The Dane sprints off the green for a 'comfort break'.
Ian Poulter's battling hard and is back to level par for the day after trickling a 15-footer just in for birdie on 13. Thirteen pars in a row for playing partner Lu Wei-chih
 
3.20pm
Rose puts a beautiful iron to about 10 feet on the 11th. Bjerregaard is further out, but holes a tremendous putt. Rose steps up and pushes his putt to the right, and the big Dane is out in front for the first time
Fitzpatrick stays in touch with a birdie on 14. Superb golf today from the youngster
 
3.10pm
Birdies for Rose and Bjerregaard to open their back nine. Rose drove the green while the Dane made a long putt after laying up.
Gaganjeet Bhullar is having a tremendous back nine - pars all the way on the front, but four birdies in 6 holes on the way in as he moves to nine under

Beautiful iron from Fitzpatrick on the par-3 12th, pin-high eight feet out but the 21-year-old's birdie putt lips out. Three under for the day, he could easily be three or more better off.
Rose finds a bunker from the fairway on 9 with his iron, but a nice chip sees him safely up and down. Just can't quite get firing today, the Englishman as we thought he would after eagling No.3. Still no dropped shots though. Bjerregaard with a routine par.
Holman immediately drops back after a duff chip on 11 leaves him a 10-footer for bogey, which he misses.
 
2.45pm
Two pars for the leading two on the par-3 eighth, Rose leaving his 15-foot birdie putt a couple of inches short and Bjerregaard making his up-and-down after finding light rough from the tee. 
Holman, who's flown under the radar so far, gets his fourth birdie in his last 5 holes on the 10th to join Fitzpatrick on -10. The 24-year-old Aussie's best finish this season is T19 at the Dunhill Links earlier this month. 
Poulter's dropped another on 9, failing to get up and down from greenside bunker. Maybe the jet lag is taking hold. Partner Lu makes his par from the sand on the other side, but don't think either of them are going to feature today with half their rounds done.
 
2.30
Trouble off the tee on 7 for Rose and Bjerregaard with the Englishman in a bunker and the Dane in light rough. Bjerregaard finds the green, but Rose is short left in the light rough with his second. Big Lucas is just short with his birdie attempt from 25 foot. Rose leaves himself a testing eight-footer for par, but it goes in after a little look around the rim. 
First bit of trouble of the day for Fitzpatrick on 10, as his drive goes awry, but he still makes par.
Putts just aren't dropping for Lu or Poulter, and the Englishman drops his second shot of the day on the 8th. He's down to -6
Patrick Reed finishes with a fine 65 after a good up-and-down from the greenside bunker on the last. Joint clubhouse lead.

2.15pm
Rose finds a bit of trouble on the par-4 six, knocking his drive into the rough on the left. Finds the green with an excellent iron from about 120 yards, leaving himself a 30-footer for birdie which is a yard short. Bjerregaard hits a monster straight down the fairway off the tee, and puts his iron to within five feet to join Rose on -11.
Fitzpatrick's looking dangerous, another birdie on the ninth. He's out in 30. 
And Nathan Holman's hit a streak of three birdies in a row from the 6th to go to -9
 
2pm
Another fine putt from Rose on the par-3 fifth, but it breaks an inch below the hole. Par for Bjerregaard too after he left himself a tester with his second shot. 
Fitzpatrick has yet another birdie opportunity on the eighth, but his putt from 10-feet on the par-3 doesn't quite break as much as he thought.

1.50pm
Another nice tee shot and wedge on 4 for Rose, but he's an inch wide with his birdie putt from about 20 feet. Playing partner Bjerregaard makes no mistake with his own effort from closer in though, and it's back-to-back birdies for him.
Poulter's made a mess of the par-3 fifth: wide of the green then fluffs his chip leaving himself a tough 10-footer to save par - which he makes, however. Excellent save.
Matt Fitzpatrick is firing - seems to have had a chance for birdie on every hole so far. He makes one on 6, then leaves another chance right on the lip on 7. 
 
 
1.40pm 
Monster tee shot from Rose on the third, some 356 yards leaving himself 191 to the pin, and he put his iron to about 15 feet. Nails the eagle attempt to go to -11, while playing partner Bjerregaard picks up birdie after narrowly missing his own putt for a 3. Daylight at the top early on for Rose.
Thongchai Jaidee pars the last to complete the round of the day so far - no dropped shots and six birdies for a 64 and a three-round total of 202. Superb golf from the Thai veteran, though playing partner Pan CT dropped a couple on 16 and 17 to finish with a 67. 
Lu and Poulter, playing together, both narrowly miss birdies on 3, while Yang drops one on the par-3 5th after putting his tee shot into the bunker on the right of the green. Poulter makes no mistake on the fourth though, while Fitzpatrick grabs one on 6 after a superb iron from a fairway bunker. 
Can't type fast enough to keep up at the moment, as putts fly in everywhere.

Rose looks quizzically at his ball on the second as he leaves a long birdie attempt six feet shy. No mistake with a testing par putt though.
YE Yang's started superbly - three birdies in his first four holes to share the lead
Up ahead, Fitzpatrick leaves a monster birdie effort on four a centimetre short. That would have been three in a row. 
Patrick Reed's snagged another on the 13th, and he joins the group on -7, but Poulter and McDowell have slipped with bogies on 2 and 5 respectively
 
1.15pm
Tremendous 10-foot putt from Rose to save par on the first after he put his drive way right. Greens look hard, dry and fast after the last few days baking in the sun. 
Graeme McDowell another making moves, with birdies on 3 and 4 to join the bunch on -7. And YE Yang narrowly misses an eagle putt on 3 to go to -8. Movement all over the place now as the action hots up
 
1pm 
Only 15 of the 76-man field are over par at the moment as leader Justin Rose tees off with a push into the trees. Obviously benign conditions - the late starters might be ready to tear this place up.
Fitzpatrick is aiming to do just that, and has gone birdie-birdie on 2-3 to move to eight under. 
 
12.45pm
They don't call it moving day for nothing. Lin Wen-tang has come out of the blocks flying, with birdies on 2, 3, and 4 - though even as I type, he drops one on the fifth. Seven under for him. Good week for Taiwan, with 3 players at the top of the leaderboard right now. 
Young English starlet Matt Fitzpatrick is one to watch today, and he's quickly picked up a shot on the second to move to -7. Don't be surprised to see him contending come the close of play.
Lu Wei-chih and Ian Poulter have just teed off, next up it's Justin Rose and Lucas Bjerregaard, the last pairing of the day
 
12.30pm
Wooft! Another birdie for Thongchai on 14. Three in a row for him, he's six under for the day and has moved to -8, a shot behind leader Rose. 
He's playing with Taiwanese youngster Pan Cheng-tsung, who made the cut at the US Open this year, and it looks like they're inspiring each other. Pan, who opened with a 65 before a 73 yesterday, is up to -7 today after also birdieing 13 and 14. 
That's a combined score of -11 for the pair today after 14 holes, and nary a dropped shot between them
 
12.15pm
Reed and Thongchai are on fire at the moment - the Thai has birdied three of his first four on the back nine to go with two on the front, while the American, a few groups behind, made it three birdies in a row on No.7. Neither has dropped a shot
They're both on -7, looking to make their mark as the overnight leaders prepare to get started. 
 
12pm
High noon here in Fanling and the sun is baking the course.
Of the early starters, American talent Patrick Reed is making the biggest move. He's just had back to back birdies on 5 and 6, to go with another on 3, to go to three under for the day and join the group of players on -6. He certainly has the talent to set an early target. 
At the other end of the table, we're left wondering what happened to South Africa's Danie van Tonder - he's finished with an impressive +9 79 to lie dead last.
