On a thrilling night of Uefa Nations League action, Scotland temporarily staved off relegation to League B as Andrew Robertson’s 93rd-minute goal earned a 2-1 over Poland in Warsaw, which sent the hosts down.
The win means the Scots have a second chance to continue life in the top tier as a play-off against a League B runner-up awaits.
Meanwhile, Spain, already guaranteed top spot in League A Group D, beat Switzerland 3-2 with a stoppage-time winner from Bryan Zaragoza.
Elsewhere, Portugal’s clash with Croatia finished 1-1, while Northern Ireland earned promotion to League B after drawing 2-2 at Luxembourg.
