Domestic football was welcomed back with open arms across Europe this weekend after a two-week pause for some of that international stuff.

There were some surprise results such as Arsenal suffering their first loss of the season.

And more predictable outcomes like Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United managing the bare minimum acceptable result to just about save his job when necessary.
