The £100 million budget remains the same, and players now have four weeks of unlimited transfers to create a squad of 15 before the season kicks off on Friday, August 16.

Over the past week, FPL had been drip-feeding player price tags to the community, and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland is now most expensive player in the competition’s history after his price increased from £14 million to £15m.

Other premium players include Mohamed Salah of Liverpool, who will be priced at £12.5m, Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka at £10m and City’s Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne who both cost £9.5m.

Cole Palmer, who scored 244 points last season and had a starting price of £5m, will now cost £10.5m after his sensational breakthrough 2023-24 campaign.

These prices have caused a debate as to whether to include Haaland as sacrifices will need to be made in other positions.
