The Kumon students are given comprehensive assessments which are then used to create individualised study plans. Whether the subject is mathematics or language, the students will all be engaged in a curriculum suited to their abilities. Their plans are updated regularly as their abilities and confidence grow so that they continue to be challenged but not daunted.
Alongside the millions of children who have already successfully completed Kumon programmes, as of March 2107 the total number of subject enrollments, globally, was 4.35 million. The Kumon Education Centres nurturing these children are spread across 50 countries.
Now, students in Hong Kong who have yet to experience the Kumon approach to learning can get a free taste, with trial lessons available from June 21 to June 30 at local centres.

Children aged three and above will get a chance to try lessons in Kumon Mathematics, English, Chinese, Japanese and English in Japanese, with two free lessons for one subject and four free lessons for two subjects. For parents, this is an opportunity to see how well the Kumon Method might help their children attain their educational goals, develop a positive attitude towards learning and lay the foundations of a successful academic career.
