Malvern has always had a deep-rooted tradition of team sports such as football, cricket and rugby. Today this can be seen by the College’s links to the Worcestershire County Cricket Club. More recently Malvern has become a strong rugby school with a professional connection with Worcester Warriors rugby club; a recent rugby tour returned from New Zealand unbeaten. Girls’ sport has also become strong at Malvern with the U18 Girls Hockey team getting into the National indoor finals; there was also a recent joint Hockey and Netball tour to South Africa, which the girls enjoyed a great deal.
