The dazzling debut of Sushi Kissho by Miyakawa

Galaxy Macau’s latest gem, Sushi Kissho by Miyakawa, earned its first Michelin star just months after opening – making waves across the region. Helmed by Chef Masaaki Miyakawa, a three-star sushi master from Japan, the intimate sushi counter is a tribute to Edomae perfection.

Expect seasonal omakase menus crafted with ingredients flown directly from Japan. And from April 4 to 6, Chef Miyakawa will personally serve a three-night-only culinary performance – his artistry on full display for just a few lucky guests.

At Saffron, located inside Banyan Tree Macau, guests are invited on a journey through contemporary Thai cuisine. And it’s not just food making headlines.

In January, piano legend Lang Lang made his Asia comeback with a sold-out concert at the Galaxy International Convention Center (GICC) – performing Chopin, Mascagni and a soul-stirring Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2.

“This was a special dedication to the audience in Macau,” says Lang Lang, reflecting on the night and the city’s rising cultural pulse.

Lang described the experience as “particularly special”, noting that in such a spacious venue, “the sound was focused and immersive, allowing [him] to feel the collective breath of the audience during [his] performance.

He also praised Macau’s growing cultural vibrancy, especially “with its increasing presence of international orchestras, making it a hub for high-standard performances”.
