Württemberg Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn and Ute Lemper will bring their artistry to Tai Kwun at the newly launched arts festival.

Connecting Hong Kong heritage and the vibrant arts scene in Berlin, Projekt Berlin will feature a range of music, films, TV and dance programmes to immerse visitors in new art experiences.

Making its debut this November, Projekt Berlin is organised by Tai Kwun, in partnership with Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Hong Kong, Goethe-Institut Hongkong and visitBerlin. The public will be treated to a carefully curated programme of free and ticketed arts experiences designed to show the breadth and depth of Berlin’s creative prowess.

Berlin has long been a cultural capital in Europe. But what makes Projekt Berlin truly unique is it is set against the backdrop of Tai Kwun’s distinctive old and new architecture, thus offering a new perspective for art lovers and eclectic experiences tailored to the different interests of the public.

Just like Hong Kong, Berlin is engaged in a perpetual state of transformation, giving birth to one of the world’s most vibrant arts scenes. This collaboration marks a special moment for a cultural collision between old-world charm and modern-day verve through the multi-faceted lens of classical and contemporary arts.
