"Everyone reading this paper has at least one Linxens product in their pockets," says Charles Hosono, Linxens Asia-Pacific president.
As the unrivalled global industry leader, Linxens provides smart card connectors to all world-leading manufacturers of contact and dual-interface banking cards, SIM (subscriber identity module) cards and other electronic cards. Aside from the smart card market, Linxens also caters to other sectors requiring speciality antennas or connectors.
"To date, Linxens has delivered more than 60 billion units of smart card connectors globally," Hosono says.
The France-based company sees tremendous potential in Asia. The region's growth is forecast to continue developing at a double-digit annual growth rate until 2020.
Seizing the opportunity, Linxens established its strategically located Asia headquarters in Singapore, staffed with more than 350 employees, to reach its neighbouring countries easily.
