As the go-to door service provider of some of the world's largest building projects including the Skyline Mansion in Shanghai, TurControlSysteme (TCS) continues to be a top player in providing intelligent door systems globally. Using German technology and design, the industry pioneer TCS introduced the two-wire pass system and continues to be a trailblazer as it develops smarter technologies and solutions for today's residential and commercial buildings.
"We constantly create new ideas focusing on improving the quality and service of our products and systems," says Otto Duffner, chairman. "As a German company, our thinking is very strong. It is not difficult for us to develop new products."
Its latest front-door station CARUS ARGOS, for instance, was developed specifically for sophisticated residential complexes and for commercial applications. It applies the latest internet technology and can be accessed from anywhere using a smartphone or tablet PC.
Tapping on Asia's burgeoning middle class markets, TCS is looking for long-term sales partners to distribute its complete home solutions on the mainland and across emerging markets in Southeast Asia.
Venturing into a new and complementary business, the company also established viaALPS - a trading firm that lets Chinese and Asian consumers experience the European lifestyle through its range of food and beverage products. Distributing goods from Europe's small but high-quality suppliers through its online shop, viaALPS brings European-made food, wines and other products from Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland and Italy to Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Singapore. Together, TCS and viaALPS showcase not only Germany's technological strengths, but Europe's exquisite culture.
"We do not only want to design door communications, we want to develop smart home solutions, share our culture and let our clients experience the full European lifestyle," Duffner says. "Combining our own ideas with our customers' and partners' ideas, we want everyone to realise and live their dream of having a good life."
