Chinachem Group's annual sustainability conference set to inspire towards an inclusive, net-zero future in Hong Kong

Chinachem Group, a leading privately-owned Hong Kong property developer, is gearing up to hold its highly anticipated sustainability conference next Monday. With a focus on leading the way towards an inclusive, net-zero future for Hong Kong, this year's theme promises to be thought-provoking. 

The annual sustainability conference will be held next Monday (November 13) at Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West . The full-day event will cover three key topics: "Caring for Our Planet”, "Integrating City Development with Sustainable Strategies" and "Embracing Diversity and Building an Inclusive Community”. 

Bernadette Linn, Secretary for Development, will be gracing the sustainability conference as the guest of honour to deliver the opening remark.  

Audrey Nugent, Director of Global Advocacy at the World Green Building Council, will be sharing her views on how policy can drive transformative change in the built environment. 

Leading up to COP28 and the Global Stocktake, Nugent's presentation will highlight the existing policy gap in the building and construction sector and outline the crucial role that cross-cutting building policies can play in transforming the built environment and achieving the goals set forth in the Paris Agreement.
