As a catalyst for sustainable urban transformation, Champion REIT has strategically embedded sustainability and innovation into the DNA of its asset management and tenant engagement model — reflecting a belief that business performance and societal well-being are not separate pursuits, but mutually reinforcing outcomes. Through the ESG Gala, the Trust continues to reinforce its role as a “Super Connector” and “Super Value-adder,” curating thriving spaces and driving long-term asset resilience.
From 29 July to 1 August, Champion REIT staged its third annual ESG event under the theme “Innovation · Inspiration · Integration”. Evolving from a one-day forum into a four-day experience, this flagship initiative showcased the Trust’s commitment to creating shared values through environmental stewardship, wellness innovation, and inclusive community building.
Positioned as a “Super Connector” and “Super Value-adder,” Champion REIT mobilised a collective network of tenants, industry leaders, and social partners to drive dialogue and action. The programme featured green pledges, expert forums, and wellness activations — demonstrating how genuine connections across sectors can unlock long-term value for both business and society.
More than a showcase, the ESG Gala served as a platform to co-create values — not just in real estates, but in people’s lives. Interactive features such as an inclusive art gallery, adaptive sports demonstrations, and curated film screenings with underprivileged youth reflected Champion REIT’s belief that impactful sustainability is not a box-ticking exercise — it is a strategic, tenant-centric approach that fosters resilience, relevance, and responsible growth.

Launched in October 2024, the EcoChampion Pledge plays a central role in Champion REIT’s tenant engagement. Under this scheme, office and retail occupiers commit to measurable environmental targets, from energy-saving goals, enhanced recycling and green procurement.
Signatories, including BlackRock Asset Management North Asia Limited, Citi, and Kabushikigaisha Limited have committed to formal energy-reduction plans, while every participant has implemented at least three waste-sorting streams. And within just six months, the average energy use intensity of tenants participated in Level 3 fell by roughly 6%, demonstrating how occupiers and landlord work hand in hand on tangible sustainability gains.

Taking workplace wellness to new heights, Langham Place Office Tower unveiled its groundbreaking “6 Dimensions Wellness” concept. The holistic initiative embraces physical, emotional, social, financial, spiritual and intellectual well-being to create an environment where businesses and individuals thrive. Hands-on workshops and knowledge-sharing activities will be organised at the new vibrant Social Wellness Hall in Eaton Club. Young award-winning photographer Kelvin Yuen showcased his masterclass in landscape photography, adding to the diverse experiences that unite health-focused individuals with exclusive member perks, wellness tips, and exciting experiences. To extend the reach of these offerings, its dedicated YouTube channel, @6dwellnesslp, rolls out new well-being tips every Friday.

Champion REIT continues to demonstrate its value-adding capabilities through strategic deployment of smart building technologies, which form a cornerstone of its ESG approach.
The recent rollout of an AI-driven chiller optimisation system at Three Garden Road continually fine-tunes cooling loads in response to occupancy and weather data, delivering approximately 6.1% annual energy savings. Meanwhile, environmental sensors, data-driven maintenance schedules and the pursuit of sustainability-linked financing underline the Trust’s commitment to reducing emissions through innovation.

Art proved to be a powerful medium for inclusion when Champion REIT teamed up with LoveXpress to present the exhibition “Colours of Inclusion – Hong Kong through Alvin’s Eyes”. Alvin Li, a young artist with autism, displayed striking canvases that invited visitors to reflect on neurodiversity and empathy. The exhibition was enriched by “Loving Stones”, created by children with autism, advocating for a more inclusive society.
This commitment to inclusion extended to workplace wellness through an innovative sports experience day at Three Garden Road. Featuring AI body scanning machines and smoothie bikes, the initiative demonstrated how cutting-edge technology can enhance daily health routines, exemplifying Champion REIT’s holistic approach to community wellbeing.
“Champion REIT is evolving beyond traditional asset management to become a dynamic “Super Connector” and “Super Value-adder”, leveraging innovation and strategic partnerships to maximise property value and drive transformative outcomes. The ESG Gala is not just a standalone event — it reflects our enduring commitment to embedding sustainability across our operations, fostering tenant- and people-centric solutions, and integrating cutting-edge technology into every facet of our business. Together, we are inspiring future generations and advancing toward a greener, more inclusive, and resilient future.” said Christina Hau, CEO of Champion REIT.
