Afternoon Dim Sum Paw-ty

On September 6, from 3pm to 5pm, four-legged friends can join their paw-rents at Sichuan Verandah for afternoon delights. While humans tuck into a six-course set menu, pups can enjoy a basket of gourmet “doggy dim sum”. After the meal, head to the adjoining Garden Terrace for fun and games, including a Best-Dressed Dog contest with toy prizes from Wooffoo, photo ops, an etiquette class for canine dining and a mini market.

Hutong is turning mahjong night into a liquid adventure with 16 new cocktails and mocktails. Allow your senses to be enthralled across four chapters – Qi, Cheng, Zhuan, He – as the experience begins with the drawing of a mahjong tile to reveal your drink. Qi (shuffle the tiles) encapsulates the fizz of excitement at the start of a game; Cheng (draw a tile) emulates the mystery; Zhuan (form the hand) blends East-meets-West flavours; and He (win the hand) finishes the set with a triumphant conclusion. Our pick is the Gentle South Wind, a non-alcoholic option of cold-brewed jasmine tea with lychee and yuzu.

Ultra Heroes Exhibition 2026

Man Ho Chinese Restaurant x Tuber Umberto Bombana

For the ninth edition of the Yunnan Wild Mushroom Feast, available until September 20, Man Ho Chinese Restaurant and Tuber Umberto Bombana are presenting an “epicurean symphony of nature’s bounty”. Prepare for a gastronomic adventure led by chefs Jayson Tang and Keith Yam, featuring highlights such as Chinese noodles braised in a secret termite mushroom and beef gravy sauce, and steamed abalone and morel mushrooms with foie gras. Save room for an earthy dessert: a walnut pastry topped with hazelnut cream and porcini mushrooms.
