At first glance all appears normal on London's Underground.
But a closer look reveals that the famous map of the Tube has undergone some minor changes.

Passengers on London's transport system have been mildly amused by the appearance of humorous stickers over their usual destinations.
In recent weeks, Shepherd's Bush - home to BBC Television Centre - has become Shepherd's Pie; while Elm Street is now Nightmare On Elm St.

But the change in destination names is not official. In fact, a group of pranksters who identify themselves on Facebook as Stickers On The Central Line have been causing havoc by sticking adhesive designs over station names.

To date the group - which calls itself 'the underground movement responsible for the beautification of the Central Line' - has gained 13,489 likes on the social networking site, which features a growing gallery of its work.
Not everyone, however, is finding the stickers amusing.

British Transport Police told the BBC: “The costs of graffiti are substantial for the railway industry in terms of repairs and clean-up, and can leave permanent scars on the infrastructure.”
