China daughter makes dummy out of clothes in bid to trick mum she is seated, studying

A sneaky-but-smart daughter tried to avoid studying by making a dummy out of her clothes to replace herself sitting on a chair while she hid nearby and played.
The unidentified girl’s ingenuity has amused Chinese netizens who marvelled at her smartness and creativity.
Her story was shared by her parents from Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, in southeastern China, in a video posted on February 8 on a major Chinese social media platform.
In the video, a dummy dressed in a yellow cotton jacket wearing a hat sits upright on a chair in the bedroom, “studying” as if it were a real person, while the daughter plays nearby.
When exposed by her parents, the daughter stubbornly said: “I am here studying too” while her family members gathered around, unable to stop laughing.
The mother said in the post: “Those above have policies, while those below have their own countermeasures. I asked her to study and do her homework, and she put a dummy there.
