A 28-year-old Chinese man has been nicknamed “the hottest village cadre” after videos of him promoting agricultural products by showing off his muscular physique went viral.
Lin Yangduo, who goes by the nickname Lin Xiaobai, is a former kayaker and an influencer with 370,000 followers on a social media platform.
Recently, Lin went viral for his physique in videos he posted promoting persimmons grown in Jingshan village, Xinchang county, in eastern China’s Zhejiang province.
In the videos, Lin transforms from a serious Mao-suit wearing village cadre to a muscle man wearing tank tops or fitness shirts.
He sometimes uses his muscular arms to squeeze the juicy persimmons in the videos.
In each of them, he calls the viewers “Baby” in Chinese, inviting them to buy the village’s products or to visit the village.
