Profile | ‘Asia’s most beautiful’ Taiwan actress Joey Wong opens wellness centre after 20-year hiatus
Award-winning actress settles in Canada, says she is now focusing on health, finding inner peace by running therapy centre in Vancouver

Legendary Taiwan actress Joey Wong has announced that she has opened a traditional Chinese therapy centre in Canada in a move away from acting to focus on health and finding inner peace.
On February 24, Wong, 58, who has been dubbed “Asia’s most beautiful woman” posted what has become a popular video on social media to announce that she is to open a moxibustion therapy centre in Vancouver.
Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) therapy that involves burning dried mugwort leaves on specific areas of the body.
It provides potential benefits such as pain relief and the promotion of blood circulation.

In the video, Wong is dressed in a white dressing gown, elegantly pouring tea and preparing tools, and even conducting the therapy herself.
