Hong Kong motorcyclist, 27, killed in accident involving 2 double-decker buses

Rider travelling along Kwun Tong Road was thrown off motorbike after initial collision and was then run over

A 27-year-old motorcyclist has been killed in Hong Kong after an accident involving two double-decker buses in Ngau Tau Kok.

The rider was travelling along Kwun Tong Road towards Kwun Tong at about 8.30pm on Sunday when he collided with a KMB bus near Ping Shek Estate.

The rider was thrown off his bike and landed on the road.

Moments later, another KMB double-decker bus ran over the fallen rider.

Emergency services rushed the severely injured man to United Christian Hospital in Kwun Tong, where he was later pronounced dead.
