Cyclist seriously injured after being hit by garbage truck in Hong Kong
Cyclist, 50, left semi-unconscious following collision on Tuesday evening in Kwai Chung

A cyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a garbage truck in Hong Kong on Tuesday evening.
The accident occurred around 8.30pm near the intersection of Kwai Yi Road and Kwai Foo Road in front of Kwai Chung Police Station in the New Territories.
The cyclist, 50, was left semi-unconscious following the collision. Emergency responders found him with serious injuries, including multiple fractures, and rushed him to Princess Margaret Hospital in Kwai Chung.
Police arrested the male truck driver, 43, on suspicion of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm.
The truck was reportedly turning right from Kwai Foo Road onto Kwai Yi Street when the cyclist attempted to overtake on the left, police said.
The driver allegedly failed to notice the cyclist before the collision. A breathalyser test reportedly returned a zero reading.
