Hong Kong’s Chow Yun-fat revels in half-marathon, finishes in under 2½ hours
Dim sum on the menu as post-race treat, film star says, as he praises ‘perfect’ weather for Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon

Official records gave the 69-year-old’s finishing time as two hours, 24 minutes and 33 seconds.

A keen runner and frequent participant in the annual event, Chow was in high spirits and stopped occasionally to take photos with fans.
“The weather today was perfect, it’s nice and cool and very comfortable ... and I got a good result this year,” he said.
Asked about any post-race treats, the superstar actor simply said he would opt for a bowl of imitation shark fin soup – a street snack staple.
He said he enjoyed Hong Kong’s marathon the most as “you get to have good dim sum afterwards”, but added he might consider running races overseas.
