Pakistan’s diplomats claimed bragging rights over their Indian counterparts by beating them to win the Commonwealth Cup in Hong Kong on Friday.

The six-a-side cricket tournament, which featured representatives from six Commonwealth countries – Britain, Australia, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa – was held to mark the 150th anniversary of The Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS).

Leading players, including Anshuman Rath, Hong Kong’s captain, who played for India, took part in the event at Kowloon Cricket Club, which was also attended by the consul general from each country.
