Hong Kong police have arrested a 23-year-old man and are looking for four others in connection with a robbery at a jewellery shop in Sheung Shui.
The man was stopped at a house in Pat Heung on Thursday morning over his alleged involvement in the robbery on San Fung Avenue at around 6.30pm the previous day, police said.
Gold bracelets and chains valued at HK$1.5 million were stolen, said Chief Inspector Law Like-him of the New Territories North regional headquarters.
Officers recovered five gold bracelets in the house.

The man, a technician, is expected to be charged with robbery and to appear at Tuen Mun Court on Saturday.
Videos circulating online appear to show four robbers in black shirts and masks grabbing items from displays at the store, with an alarm ringing in the background.
The robbers were also seen rushing into a black car driven by a fifth suspect.
Law said the getaway vehicle sped towards Kam Tin but hit another car near Ng Tung Chai on Lam Kam Road at about 7pm.
Three people were spotted quickly exiting the vehicle and fleeing towards Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden.
The male driver of the second vehicle was taken to hospital suffering from neck injuries.
Hammers and meat cleavers were found in the getaway car. Some clothing and surgical masks were also discovered on a nearby hillside.
The getaway car was seen scouting out the area around the shop two days before the raid, Law said. The hunt continued for the other robbers, Law added.
