The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) on Friday said the two defendants were Ricky Lee Wing-fai, 47, principal manager of the Airport Authority, and Ng Kai-on, 65, sole director-cum-shareholder of Carol Engineering Limited – a subcontractor for the project.
The pair were among 30 people rounded up in an operation code-named “Blizzard” that took place on Wednesday and Thursday.
The anti-corruption agency laid charges against Lee and Ng on Thursday night after seeking legal advice from the Department of Justice.
