The organiser of ComplexCon Hong Kong has announced it will issue refunds to fans who complained that a glitch had changed the dates on their tickets and prevented them from booking a highly anticipated performance by K-pop girl group NJZ.

Complex Chinese said on Friday it would process refunds for fans of the band, formerly known as NewJeans, who held valid tickets and made “formal and verified inquiries to ComplexCon Hong Kong, [ticketing platform] Cityline or the Consumer Council regarding the priority ticketing on February 10”.

The complaints needed to be dated on or before February 13, it added.

“ComplexCon Hong Kong always prioritises the experience of our fans and all pop culture enthusiasts, striving to present a world-class pop culture festival in Hong Kong,” the organiser said.

ComplexCon will take place between March 21 and 23 at AsiaWorld-Expo, and NJZ is expected to perform on the last day of the event.

The organiser said buyers seeking a refund should send an email request with the email address they used to purchase the ticket. They should also include the valid ticket and confirmation email from Cityline in their inquiry.

Those intending to apply for a refund must do so by 5pm Hong Kong time on Sunday.
