Chinese library installs statue of deceased regular patron

A bronze statue is to be unveiled in Hangzhou’s city library to commemorate a rubbish collector in the city.

Wei Sihao became an online celebrity in 2014, Worker’s Daily reported. He was as a frequent library visitor who always washed his hands before reading any books. Wei was hit by a taxi in Hangzhou in November 2015, and died the following month.

After Wei died, it was discovered he was a retired high school teacher.
