Indonesia launches free health-screening programme to all citizens as ‘birthday presents’

Thousands of Indonesians received a free health check-up on January 10, 2025, as part of an annual screening programme launched by the government to improve preventive care and uphold a key election promise made by President Prabowo Subianto.
