An Indonesian man was injured in his ear and neck after a colleague lost his cool and stabbed him for apparently playing video games too loudly at a workers’ hostel in the Malaysian city of Johor Bahru.
Iskandar Puteri OCPD Asst Comm Noor Hashim Mohamad said that the 39-year-old suspect went into a rage as the noise coming from the next room was disturbing his sleep.
He walked into the victim’s room and attacked the Indonesian man, in his 20s, with a penknife at about 7am.
“After the assault, the suspect immediately returned to his room and went back to bed.
“The victim suffered a 4cm cut on the back of his left ear and wounds on his left arm, while two others who were also playing were unharmed,” ACP Noor Hashim told reporters.
