Seamaster Aqua Terra

Precious stones tell the time in Omega’s new 34mm Seamaster Aqua Terra timepieces, which feature two striking wave-embossed dial designs that evoke the ripples seen on the surface of the ocean, in a nod to the collection’s maritime history.

The 2021 novelties offer the choice of a nude dial with 11 marquise-cut diamond hour markers, or a pale pink dial with 11 marquise-cut ruby hour markers. Both have central hour, minute and seconds hands in diamond-polished 18-carat Sedna gold – a rose gold alloy developed by Omega – and a date window positioned at six o’clock.

The new Aqua Terra models are crafted in a combination of stainless steel and Sedna gold, with a polished and brushed, symmetrical case body, as well as a polished, diamond-set bezel.

There is the option of an integrated bracelet, which is also made from stainless steel and Sedna gold with polished central links and brushed external links, and includes a butterfly clasp. It can be swapped for a shimmering leather strap in either red or nude, to match the dial colour.

Through the flat sapphire crystal window on the polished and brushed caseback, Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8800 is on display. This movement has passed a series of tests for exceptional levels of precision, performance and magnetic resistance, which are certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS). The watch is also water-resistant to a depth of 150 metres.
