  • The Swiss brand highlights 2 models from its signature ladies’ collection, crafted with yellow gold and Omega’s patented Sedna gold
  • Both timepieces sparkle with diamonds set in the bezels and dials, and are powered by the watchmaker’s Master Chronometer-certified movements

With Mother’s Day approaching, it’s time to find a way to show your mum how precious her love and care have been to you. Omega offers a memorable gift idea, with a selection of diamond-accented, golden timepieces from its Constellation collection that befit the star of the family.

The Constellation has stood as the Swiss watchmaker’s symbol of beauty and precision ever since its debut in 1952. Its classic style now carries sleek, modern touches in the watch’s fifth-generation design, which is characterised by half-moon facets on the top and bottom of the case, along with the iconic “claws” on the sides of the bezel. The dramatic look is finished off by the familiar mono-rang bracelet.

Two 29mm models from the collection stand out as exquisite gift choices. First is the Constellation watch in a combination of 18-carat yellow gold and stainless steel, featuring a diamond-paved bezel and diamond hour markers embellishing the dial.

The mother-of-pearl dial also has a date window positioned at six o’clock, and slim hands in a skeletonised leaf shape. The hands, diamond holders around the dial, Omega symbol and signature Constellation star are all in 18-carat yellow gold.

Around the wrist, the steel bracelet is accented by polished gold mid-bar links. Through a domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on the caseback, Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8700 can be seen operating at the heart of the timepiece.

The other Constellation model has a case and bracelet crafted entirely in 18-carat Sedna gold, Omega’s patented rose gold alloy. It also features a diamond-paved bezel and a mother-of-pearl dial with diamonds that mark the hours, leading to the date window at the bottom.

The hands, Omega symbol, Constellation star and diamond holders on the dial are made of Sedna gold as well. This timepiece is driven by Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8701, which is visible through the caseback.

The Master Chronometer movement inside each model has been certified as meeting Omega’s elevated quality standards, which means they can withstand magnetic forces of up to 15,000 gauss, are water-resistant and maintain precision timing under various conditions related to everyday wear.

These Constellation watches not only make a dazzling statement of style and appreciation for Mother’s Day, but they also work well as a coordinated pair, with the different tones of gold playing off one another. By giving both Omega timepieces as a joint gift, mothers and daughters can celebrate their bond in an elegant fashion.
