Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s highly anticipated nuptials, rumoured to be at Madison Square Garden, are being planned with the help of celebrity wedding planner Mark Seed.
Swift’s wedding has been a hot topic ever since the pop star announced her engagement to Kelce in August 2025 on Instagram.

Swifties and several media outlets have speculated that the wedding will take place in early July, before Kelce returns to training this summer. The ceremony’s unconfirmed guest list also made headlines earlier this month when it was reported that Swift’s long-time bestie Blake Lively would not be receiving a save-the-date.

Meanwhile, some sources estimate that the Swift-Kelce wedding will cost up to US$20 million.
Here’s everything you need to know about Mark Seed, who has been tasked to plan what is being dubbed the American royal wedding.
What is celebrity wedding planner Mark Seed known for?

Mark Seed has worked on several events for Hollywood celebrities, including Jack Antonoff’s 2023 wedding to Margaret Qualley, and Jennifer Lawrence’s 2019 nuptials to art dealer Cooke Maroney.
An insider reportedly told Page Six that Seed “can build something spectacular out of nothing” and “is renowned for never, ever talking about his clients”.
He is best known for his architectural designs. In 2022, he helped construct a greenhouse on the lawn of Sam Ressler’s parents for her nuptials to Jason Borg.
In an interview with Vogue, Ressler praised Seed for his event-planning skills, saying, “He made everything so easy, fun and seamless. He’s basically a genius and has the chillest energy. He’s also incapable of panic. He can right-size any problem and can put things in perspective. He really gets that this should just be a celebration of love and a fun experience to plan.”
Seed has reportedly been working on Swift and Kelce’s wedding for months, which, according to Page Six, will require major remodelling of the Madison Square Garden Arena. Darren Olarsch, founder of production company One the Move Entertainment, told the outlet that “the production team would have to build out overhead structures” to make the wedding ceremony more romantic and intimate.
“They would literally build the wedding venue on the floor. Your own mini stage, dance floor and surrounding tables that are all right there; a venue within a venue,” he explained.
He is ultra low-key

Despite his high-profile clientele, Seed himself is extremely low-key, with his personal website only showing a logo and contact information. Seed is also a creative event planner for creative agency Exposure NY.
