Meet Mariska Hargitay’s 3 children, who joined her at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards

Mariska Hargitay just turned the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards into a family affair. Before the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star hosted the big night on Monday, the 62-year-old turned heads on the red carpet – posing with her husband Peter Hermann and their children, August Miklos Friedrich, Amaya Josephine and Andrew Nicolas. The mother and daughter matched in stunning red dresses, while the father and sons looked dapper in black suits.

By the end of the night, Hargitay had not only achieved the immense feat of becoming the first woman in 15 years to host the Emmys since Jane Lynch in 2011, but she also took home two awards – Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special and Outstanding Directing for a Documentary/Nonfiction Program – for her 2025 documentary, My Mom Jayne: A Film by Mariska Hargitay.
