Cline and Chase Stokes sparked dating rumours after fans noticed his flirtatious comments under the actress’ Instagram while they were quarantining in the same house with the Outer Banks cast. In June 2020, the couple confirmed their relationship in a since-deleted Instagram post.
The pair celebrated their one-year anniversary in April 2021, but by November that year, People confirmed that they had broken up. Their characters were love interests in the Netflix series, meaning they had to navigate their real-life break-up in the seasons that followed. “There were moments when it was difficult, absolutely,” Cline told The Hollywood Reporter last week. “But once the dust kind of settled, we were able to just revert to the friendship that we always had. At some point, you look at each other and you’re like, ‘Are you ready to stop being miserable? Because I’m ready.’”
Jackson Guthy
In June 2022, Cline was seen spending time with singer Jackson Guthy. She kept the relationship low profile, only confirming she was dating someone in a December 2022 interview with The Cut, in which she noted that she was living with her boyfriend and their dogs.
