US professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau is dating 26-year-old Mikayla Demaiter, according to Us Weekly.
DeChambeau was previously rumoured to be dating Lilia Schneider. But earlier this month, fans of the golfer noticed that in a photo Demaiter posted, the Canadian model was wearing a guest pass for a LIV Golf event in New York, while a Crushers GC cap – the team DeChambeau captains – could also be seen in the background.

“They are both pretty private when it comes to relationships,” a source told Us Weekly. According to the insider, the relationship is fairly new, but DeChambeau and Demaiter seem happy together.

What is Mikayla Demaiter’s background?

Mikayla Demaiter was born on May 14, 2000, in Ontario, Canada. She played ice hockey in the Provincial Women’s Hockey League, and was a goaltender for the Bluewater Hawks.
Demaiter had a promising season from 2018 to 2019, playing 20 games. She retired from the sport in 2019 due to a knee injury and moved on to modelling. She now has 3 million followers on Instagram and 1.2 million followers on X.
Despite her retirement, the former goalie occasionally shares photos and clips of herself returning to the ice in her hockey gear.
She has a bookish side

Demaiter attended Western University and majored in occupational therapy and disability studies, per her Instagram Stories.
The model revealed that from a young age she has had a passion for outer space, ancient Egypt and dinosaurs, and has even taken an online astrophysics course. She is also an avid reader, sharing book recommendations such as 1984, Man’s Search for Meaning and Eragon on social media.
She is an animal lover

Last September, Demaiter purchased over 20 hectares of land, where she has since been enjoying rural life. The animal lover shares her home with six dogs, two cats and two horses.
Two of her dogs, Georgie and Willie, are disabled, having been born with the double merle gene that causes deafness and blindness. Demaiter explained on Instagram that merging her university studies in disability with her love for animals felt like “destiny”.
Her long-term goal is to turn her property into a non-profit animal rescue, with plans to create a mental health programme for veterans who will be granted unrestricted access to the animals.
