Last week, on Instagram, the supermodel shared snippets of her summer spent on horseback and in nature. She went on picnics, dabbled in some crafting and spent time with the children of her friend, Rachel Ryan Lacy. Rachel’s brother, Nathan Lacy, is rumoured to be dating Hadid after the two were photographed together in Milan during Fashion Week in February.

At the time, Nathan was dubbed a “mystery cowboy” by the media, with his Western-inspired attire bringing to mind equestrian Adan Banuelos, whom Hadid reportedly broke up with earlier this year. The pair never confirmed the split though, keeping fans guessing at the supermodel’s relationship status.
So who is Nathan Lacy, and is he really dating Hadid? Here is everything we know.
What is Nathan Lacy’s background?

Nathan Lacy, 38, is from Crested Butte, Colorado. An insider told the Daily Mail last Thursday that the Lacy family is very well known locally, and has a reputation for being “very Catholic, very conservative and very red”. This might come as a surprise, as Hadid is known for being staunchly liberal and actively supporting Palestine.
What does Nathan Lacy do?

The Lacy family has owned the Crested Butte Ranch, also known as The Lacy Ranch, for five generations. According to the ranch’s Facebook page, they are a working ranch that breeds, raises, trains and shows cutting horses.
The family also own the Lacy Construction Company. According to its website, Nathan started working at an early age and is now an estimator and project manager.
Is Bella Hadid really dating Nathan Lacy?

According to the Daily Mail’s insider, Lacy has a reputation for being a “local heartthrob”.
Hadid has recently been spotted around his hometown, even spending time with his family. However, a source told TMZ on Monday that Hadid and Nathan are not dating, and he is simply the brother of her friend, Rachael.
Hadid was previously linked to professional horseback rider Adan Banuelos, who was first spotted with the supermodel in public in October 2023. Reports state that they had broken up in January, but it was reported later that the couple were back together by early February. Hadid and Banuelos were last seen together in mid-April, with a source claiming to TMZ in May that they had never split.
Hadid’s relationship status remains quite the mystery, with the latest reports now claiming the supermodel is single.
