Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley, who attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s extravagant wedding at Madison Square Garden last Friday, couldn’t be more grateful to the bride and groom. The power couple donated around US$26 million to various organisations – including the Paisleys’ free grocery non-profit The Store – before their wedding.

“We’re incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce for their transformative gift to The Store. Their kindness will help more families across Middle Tennessee access fresh, healthy food with dignity and choice, and we’re honoured to have their support,” the Nashville-based non-profit wrote in an Instagram post last Thursday.
“Congratulations to Taylor and Travis on your upcoming wedding! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness as you begin this next chapter together. Thank you for helping make a difference in the lives of our neighbours,” the post continued.

Taylor Swift once opened for Brad Paisley

Born in October 1972, Brad Paisley is an acclaimed country singer from West Virginia. The musical talent received his first guitar from his maternal grandfather when he was just eight years old, per ABC News.
Paisley got his first big break in 1999 after releasing the song “Who Needs Pictures,” which earned him Top New Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2000 Country Music Association Awards. The singer-songwriter has won three Grammy Awards so far.
He was one of the first country musicians to give Swift a platform when she was just starting out in the industry: she was an opener for one of Paisley’s tours early on in her career.
Kimberly Williams-Paisley is an Alzheimer’s advocate

Kimberly Williams-Paisley is an American actress best known for her recurring role in the ABC TV series According to Jim. She is also recognised for her breakout role in the 1991 film Father of the Bride, which earned her several award nominations.
In addition to acting, Williams-Paisley is also a best-selling author who published her first full-length book, Where the Light Gets In: Losing My Mother Only to Find Her Again, in 2016. The memoir, about her mother’s battle with Alzheimer’s disease, was a New York Times bestseller.
The actress was honoured with a Champion Award by the Alzheimer’s Association in 2016 for her advocacy and fundraising efforts in support of the cause.
The Paisleys have been married for over 20 years

The couple started dating in 2001 after the singer invited the actress to appear in a music video for his 2001 song “I’m Gonna Miss Her.” They tied the knot in 2003.
In a 2011 interview with ABC News, Paisley opened up about first seeing his partner on screen when he had gone to watch the Father of the Bride sequel in the cinema by himself. At the time, he was hoping his then-ex-girlfriend would show up, but she didn’t.
“That’s a weird feeling, because I know in my heart what really happened, which was: I went to see that movie, [it] didn’t work out, and then, really, just had this idea later – I either want somebody just like the girl in that, or literally, I remember thinking, that’s who I belong with. It was as clear as that,” he told ABC News.
The couple celebrated their 23rd marriage anniversary in March. Speaking with Fox News Digital in May, Williams-Paisley said the secret to her long-lasting marriage was advice she heard from Freaky Friday star Jamie Lee Curtis.
“I heard Jamie Lee Curtis say recently, the secret is, ‘Don’t leave.’ I thought that was actually brilliant. Yeah, just know there’s gonna be ups and downs and don’t give up. That’s our secret.”
The pair share two sons, William Huckleberry, 19, and Jasper, 17.
