The Princess of Wales reunited with her college boyfriend, Rupert Finch, over the weekend while attending the wedding of Prince William’s cousin Peter Phillips to Harriet Sperling at the Cotswolds, England.

Attended by King Charles and Queen Camilla, the wedding was a royal affair. Finch, who dated Kate Middleton during their days at the University of St Andrews, arrived at the event with his wife, Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs.

What does Rupert Finch do?
Finch attended the University of St Andrews, where he studied history. Dubbed the “ultimate catch” by Middleton’s friends, per Page Six, he was in his fourth year when he began dating her in 2001. The pair reportedly dated for less than a year.
After graduation, Finch went on to complete his studies at the College of Law Guildford (now the University of Law) and graduated in 2004. He currently works as a general counsel in Oxfordshire.

When Middleton first caught Prince William’s fancy, walking down a charity runway in a sheer dress, she was still allegedly involved with Finch, per Irish Star.
Their relationship is also dramatised in the sixth and final season of Netflix’s hit series The Crown. Finch was portrayed by actor Oli Green, while Meg Bellamy starred as Middleton.
While the former couple has kept details of their relationship private, they remain friends, with Finch even receiving an invitation to Middleton’s wedding with Prince William in 2011, per People.
Who is Rupert Finch married to?

In 2013, Finch tied the knot with Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs, the daughter of Simon Isaacs, the 4th Marquess of Reading, and co-founder of the luxury womenswear brand, Beulah London. Middleton herself has been spotted wearing pieces from the brand on several occasions. The couple have welcomed three children together.
