Congratulations are in order for Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, who are expecting their third child together.
The 36-year-old British royal announced her pregnancy on Instagram with an adorable photo of her two sons, five-year-old August and two-year-old Ernest, holding an ultrasound picture of the baby, who is due this summer. Buckingham Palace further revealed that the tots are “very excited to have another sibling join the family” and that King Charles is “delighted with the news”.

Princess Eugenie, whose father is disgraced former prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, is not a working royal, and her new baby won’t be using HRH styling, but they will be 15th in line to the throne.
The happy news came shortly after Jack Brooksbank celebrated his 40th birthday on May 3. Here’s everything you need to know about the soon-to-be father of three.
Jack Brooksbank is a commoner

Jack Brooksbank hails from London, England, where he was born to Nicola and George Brooksbank. His father worked as an accountant and was the executive director of the charity Supporting Wounded Veterans. The family has a second home in France, according to the official Duke of York website.

Brooksbank attended Finton House School in Wandsworth, Ludgrove Prep School in Wokingham, and Stowe School in Buckinghamshire, England. He had an active childhood and enjoyed surfing, rock climbing and swimming. Some of his other interests include tennis, football, skiing, art, film and theatre.
What does he do for work?

Brooksbank works in marketing, and once served as the UK ambassador for George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman’s tequila brand, Casamigos. He later worked with Meldman as a marketing executive, going back and forth between England and Portugal. Brooksbank is also dedicated to philanthropy.
His relationship with Princess Eugenie

Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank first crossed paths in 2010, when they were both on a skiing trip in Verbier, Switzerland. The princess recalled it being “love at first sight”, per People. Between 2013 and 2015, when Eugenie was based in New York City, the couple reportedly maintained a long-distance relationship before getting engaged in 2018.

Brooksbank initially proposed without a ring because he “didn’t want to do anything until Eugenie had signed off on it”, he told the BBC. However, they later co-designed her ring, which featured a padparadscha sapphire stone he had picked out in advance.
The two said their “I do’s” at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in October 2018, with the princess calling it “the greatest day” of her life.
