Meet Stranger Things’ Linnea Berthelsen, who plays Kali, ‘sister’ to Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven

Now in its fifth season, the Duffer Brothers’ blockbuster sci-fi Netflix original is coming to a close on the last day of 2025
“We needed Kali to represent a more pessimistic, but perhaps realistic, version [of the state of things], compared to [main character] Mike’s world view of ‘We’re gonna have butterflies and rainbows’,” Ross Duffer told Variety. In essence, Kali re-enters the plot to question the possibility of a happy ending as she tries to convince El to stay in the Upside Down.
