Does Taylor Swift talk about Blake Lively, Charli XCX and Olivia Rodrigo on Showgirl?

Swift released The Life of a Showgirl last week, and fans are theorising that songs like ‘Actually Romantic’ and ‘Father Figure’ are about her celebrity feuds

The week following has been a cacophony as Swifties perform their post-album release ritual of decoding hidden messages in the tracks’ lyrics to piece together the ins and outs of the “Opalite” singer’s personal life.

Here’s a deep dive into Taylor Swift’s new album – and her friendships that soured, according to her fans.
Did she dis Charli XCX in “Actually Romantic”?

The lyrics of the seventh track on The Life of a Showgirl allude to a pop star who spends so much time and effort hating Swift that it’s Actually Romantic.
While Swift hasn’t explicitly named who the song is about, fans are convinced it’s a clapback at Charli XCX, who allegedly wrote her song “Sympathy is a Knife” about Swift.
In the song, Charli sings about being insecure about a woman who is backstage at her boyfriend’s show. “Don’t know if it’s real or if I’m spiralling. One voice tells me that they laugh, George says, ‘I’m just paranoid’,” she sings.
