It’s time to say goodbye to Cousins Beach after three seasons of adventures with our beloved protagonist Isabel “Belly” Conklin (Lola Tung), her childhood best friend-turned-lover Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno) and her first love, Jeremiah’s older brother Conrad (Christopher Briney).
While supporting characters on The Summer I Turned Pretty have come and gone since the first episode premiered back in 2022, a select few cast members caught our eye this season and left us wanting to know more about them IRL.
Below, see everything you need to know about the core cast members of The Summer I Turned Pretty.
Lola Tung as Isabel “Belly” Conklin

When we catch up with Belly at the start of season three, she’s already been going steady with Jeremiah for almost four years.
In real life, Tung appears to be single at the time of writing, though she’s already sparked dating rumours with pop duo Royel Otis’ Otis Pavlovic and fellow Gen Z actor Garrett Wareing.

Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah Fisher

Jeremiah runs into some controversy early this season after cheating on Belly during spring break, reigniting the age-old question of whether they were actually, well, on a break. Setting aside the Friends-era Ross and Rachel debate, the couple sparks further controversy after Jeremiah proposes shortly after, with Belly promptly accepting.
Meanwhile, Casalegno is already married in real life to long-time partner Cheyanne King Casalegno.

Christopher Briney as Conrad Fisher

Team Conrad made a huge comeback this season, but unfortunately for all fans of his deeply sensitive but avoidant character, Briney has a long-time partner in real life – fellow Pace University alumnus Isabel Machado.

Sean Kaufman as Steven Conklin

Belly’s older brother Steven often plays the role of comic relief throughout the show, but with his own fair share of romances. Actor Sean Kaufman appears to be dating his season one co-star, Minnie Mills, who played Steven’s debutante love interest Shayla.

Rain Spencer as Taylor Jewel

Taylor Jewel – who also happens to be Belly’s best friend – finds herself in an on-off relationship with Steven throughout the course of the show. Affectionately dubbed “Staylor” by The Summer I Turned Pretty fandom, their will-they-won’t-they storyline somewhat mirrors Belly’s own messy love life, and gives fans yet another couple to root for across three seasons.

Rachel Blanchard as Susannah Fisher

Though Susannah Fisher – mother to Conrad and Jeremiah – unfortunately passes away before the events of season two, actress Rachel Blanchard continues to make cameo appearances in the remaining episodes through a series of flashbacks. One pivotal scene in season three shows Conrad and Susannah sharing one of their final moments together in a conversation that’s equal parts heartfelt and heartbreaking.

Jackie Chung as Laurel Park

Laurel Park, Susannah Fisher’s long-time best friend and Belly’s stubborn but endlessly loyal mother, is played by Jackie Chung, a consistent presence across all three seasons of the show.

Kristen Connolly as Lucinda Jewel

Taylor Jewel’s mother Lucinda, played by Kristen Connolly, steps up as Laurel’s stand-in when Belly’s mum refuses to support her impending nuptials to Jeremiah, or go shopping for wedding gowns with her. Lucinda and Taylor’s relationship also becomes more of a focal point this season.

Colin Ferguson as John Conklin

Hong Kong-raised actor Colin Ferguson plays John Conklin, the supportive and less strict parent to Belly and Steven. He also nurtures a relatively friendly relationship with ex-wife Laurel that, in this season, turns somewhat romantic yet again.

Tom Everett Scott as Adam Fisher

Tom Everett Scott plays Adam Fisher, an absent father to Conrad and Jeremiah for most of the first two seasons after splitting with Susannah. As one of the few characters on this list who plays a more active role this season than last, Adam has a comeback arc that sees him reconnecting with his sons and wholeheartedly pursuing a new(ish) romance.

Emma Ishta as Kayleigh

Kayleigh is introduced in season three as Adam’s secretary at Breaker Capital and later becomes his girlfriend. Only true TSITP fans will know that she was actually alluded to much earlier in the show as “the other woman” Adam cheated on Susannah with. Kayleigh is played by Australian model-turned-actress Emma Ishta.

Isabella Briggs as Denise

Isabella Briggs’ character Denise quickly became one of this season’s most popular cast additions. We’re first introduced to her as one of the analysts at Breaker Capital, where she works alongside Steven and Jeremiah. What starts out as light bickering between her and Steven eventually blossoms into flirting instead, and soon enough Denise finds herself in the middle of the “Staylor” love triangle.

Zoé de Grand Maison as Agnes

Fans who have been following the show for a while know that Conrad transfers to his dream school, Stanford University, after the end of season two, moving out to the west coast. This season, we’re introduced to Agnes, played by Riverdale veteran Zoé de Grand Maison, one of Conrad’s closest friends in California.

Sofia Bryant as Anika

Anika is one of Belly’s new friends at the fictional Finch College, who is eventually by her side at her bachelorette party – which doesn’t go exactly as planned.

Tanner Zagarino as Redbird

Tanner Zagarino takes the role of Redbird, one of Jeremiah’s best friends and fraternity brothers, who ultimately plays a pivotal but unfortunate role later in the season when he inadvertently reveals to Conrad that Jeremiah cheated on Belly.

Fernando Cattori as Benito

After Belly’s move to Paris near the tail end of the third season following the cancellation of her and Jeremiah’s ill-fated wedding, it’s no surprise that the showrunners had to throw in another potential love interest to keep things interesting. Meet Benito, played by Mexican actor Fernando Cattori.
