The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes has officially hit cinemas!
Based on the bestselling novel by Suzanne Collins, the latest Hunger Games film is a prequel to the hit cinematic franchise originally starring Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence.
But this time, there’s no Katniss Everdeen to lead the saga. The Lionsgate-produced film takes viewers back six decades before Lawrence’s character volunteered as a tribute. This time, it focuses on a young Coriolanus Snow, before he became the tyrannical president of Panem.
British actor Tom Blyth plays the challenging role of Snow in his youth for the prequel. An older Snow was previously played by Donald Sutherland in the trilogy.

Tom Blyth is a British actor. The 28-year-old hails from Birmingham in the UK. According to L’Officiel, Blyth grew up in the suburbs with his family. His late dad, Gavin worked as a producer on long running UK soaps Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
What films has Tom Blyth been in?
Blyth made his acting debut back in 2010, as a “feral child” in Robin Hood starring Russell Crowe. He’s since made appearances in films such as Scott and Sid, Benediction and an episode of the TV show The Gilded Age as Archie Baldwin. He’s also the star of MGM+ original series Billy the Kid.
