Akash clearly enjoys his luxurious lifestyle to the full, as is evidenced by his lavish pre-wedding bash, wedding and subsequent holidays. His three-day pre-wedding party in Switzerland included a carnival, a master chef, drones, a sizeable;e fireworks display and a full Bollywood brigade who came along for the bash. The wedding invitations alone cost over US$6,000, and Akash and his lovely bride Shloka have been spotted at various luxury holiday spots the world over.

“Back room boy” Akash Ambani was hailed for his role in hammering out a deal that led to Facebook investing US$5.7 billion for a 9.99 per cent stake in Jio Platforms, the digital technology arm of Mukesh Ambani’s conglomerate Reliance Industries.
The fact that the deal was finalised during a worldwide pandemic makes it clear that Akash has been honing his communication and networking skills rather than just riding his father’s coattails to success.
