“His eyes see everything but he knows how to make himself nearly invisible … His presence is weightless. You have the feeling he floats in the air …” Karl Lagerfeld says of Benoit Peverelli, the album’s photographer who has been photographing the maison’s backstage and fittings since 2010.

With introduction by Karl Lagerfeld, the photo album features more than 3,000 images.
Comprising four volumes named after Chanel’s four collection – Haute Couture, Prêt-à-Porter, Croisière and Métiers d’Art, the album captures the intimate moments backstage, where Lagerfeld gives models a final touch before revealing his masterpieces to the world.
