Timepieces

The Spider-Man and Odyssey star has built an enviable collection of rare and prized timepieces, showcasing a style that is both classy and quirky

You cannot escape Tom Holland this summer. Not that you would want to, of course; he just happens to be starring in two of the year’s biggest releases – returning as web-slinger-at-large in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and taking on the role of Telemachus in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.
Holland has built a reputation as one of Hollywood’s more grounded and likeable leading men (who could forget him gamely throwing himself into Rihanna’s “Umbrella” on Lip Sync Battle?). Despite that everyman image, he is also a bona fide A-lister with the means – and the taste – to build an enviable watch collection. Over the years, he has consistently caught the attention of collectors, not because he gravitates towards the rarest or most expensive pieces, but because his choices are fun, distinctive and just a little quirky. They feel personal, reflecting his own style rather than whatever happens to be the watch world’s latest obsession.
That impression is only reinforced by the fact that he actually wears them, whether he is on a dinner date with his wife, Zendaya, running errands, or suiting up for an awards show. The sort of collection that suggests someone who buys watches for the joy they bring, rather than simply as a display of wealth. Here are some of Tom Holland’s best timepieces.

If there was one watch Holland could not seem to take off the past couple of years, it was his platinum Rolex Cosmograph Daytona. He wore the six-figure chronograph throughout The Odyssey press tour, from junkets to photocalls, and was also spotted wearing it to non-industry events like the 2025 Wimbledon Championships.

While the Daytona is already one of the hardest watches in the world to buy, this platinum version sits in another league entirely. The ice-blue dial is reserved exclusively for Rolex’s platinum models, while the chestnut-brown Cerachrom bezel and sundials and flashes of red “Daytona” lettering let observers know that this is not your average Daytona.

Rolex Oyster Perpetual ‘Celebration Dial’

Not every watch in Holland’s Rolex collection (of which there are many, by the way – from grail GMT Masters II to a Submariner) takes itself so seriously as the platty Daytona. The Rolex Oyster Perpetual “Celebration Dial” is one of the brand’s more playful modern releases, scattering candy-coloured bubbles in pink, yellow, green and coral red across a turquoise dial. Holland wore the piece for a delightfully chaotic LADBible interview last year, during which he spent time cuddling bunnies and puppies – fitting companions for this cutesy design. Retailing for around US$6,750, it is downright affordable by Rolex standards, though like many of the brand’s modern releases, buying one at retail is easier said than done.

For horophiles, this might be the watch that really made them take notice of Holland’s collection. He wore the Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167R-001 back in 2018, and unlike many celebrity purchases, it was not a one-off appearance – he has continued to wear it to work and in everyday life ever since.
